Project for Holocaust Survivors at Bikur Cholim Chesed Organization will be hosting the third monthly discussion group for members of the Second Generation, entitled “Survivor Families: Our Parents, Ourselves, Our Changing Lives.” This group will be facilitated by psychologist Irit Felsen, Ph.D, who has spent decades assisting Holocaust survivors and their descendants.
Her focus is on using the unique strengths of survivor families to create pathways for understanding, growth and healing. The third gathering will
take place on Tuesday, July 26, from 7:00-8:30 p.m., at the Boro Park Y, 4912 14th Avenue. Meetings are free of charge; registration is not required. Separate seating is available. For more information, contact Mrs. Devorah Naomi Waters, 718-438-2020, ext. 7452. This program is made possible by funding from the Center for Advancing Holocaust Survivor Care of the Jewish Federations of North America.
